What is the difference between Starter and Pro?
Starter helps you create. Pro keeps the next useful work ready. Starter includes hands-on creation, approval, Library organization, Aion Sources setup, and manual reuse. Pro adds recurring Draft preparation, Draft Feed, Topics and Signals planning, automated selection from opted-in Sources, the full operational Calendar, and scheduled delivery after approval.
Does using my Library or Aion Sources spend media credits?
No. Uploading, organizing, tagging, enabling or pausing Sources, and directly reusing existing approved media do not spend generation credits. Image or Video Credits apply only when Aion creates, remixes, animates, assembles, exports, or voice-renders new media.
How do Content Calendar, Draft preparation, and scheduling differ?
Draft Feed shows what Aion prepared for review. Post Studio is where you shape and approve the exact draft. Content Calendar shows planned, review, scheduled, published, and needs-attention work in time. Draft preparation is the Pro setting that controls what Aion prepares next, and scheduling decides when an approved post goes live.
What does an Aion subscription cover?
An Aion subscription covers the product workflow: Post Studio, Context, channel previews, approvals, workspace access, and the plan-specific features shown on Pricing. It is not an unlimited media-generation bundle. Current plan prices, included allowances, and optional credit packs are listed on Pricing before you choose a purchase.
What is included in the seven-day trial?
The same full-product trial is used for every customer: one workspace, one user, one publishing destination, up to 10 successful external deliveries, and 5 GB of active storage. No card is required. The trial includes zero Image Credits and zero Video Credits, so you can use your own media or purchase an approved pack when generation is available.
Do I need to connect an AI service during signup?
No. Aion-assisted drafting and inspiration analysis use Aion-managed service within your included allowance—20 actions during the trial. You can also write and edit manually. Customer AI keys are never required for the normal product workflow.
What are Aion Image Credits and Aion Video Credits?
Image Credits cover Aion-created images, Image Remix, repair turns, refinements, product visuals, and generated carousel cards. Video Credits cover supported video creation, normal final assembly, approved final exports, and one supported off-camera voiceover pass when the recipe supports it. Aion does not use a Standard-versus-Premium credit class. Storage is separate and is shown as used GB out of the workspace capacity.
What does a normal media generation cost?
An image, Image Remix, repair, or image-refinement turn currently uses 4 Image Credits per generated output. A four-card generated carousel uses 16 Image Credits. A 8-second 1080p video uses 48 Video Credits. Aion shows the exact charge before generation.
Do credits roll over?
Paid top-up credit packs stay with the workspace and roll forward while the workspace account remains active. Plan-included monthly allowances do not roll over. They refresh once per Stripe billing period and unused included allowance expires when that billing period ends. Credits are not cash, are not transferable, and are not guaranteed after cancellation, inactive-plan retention, workspace deletion, or a successful data-deletion request.
Are Aion credit-pack purchases refundable?
One-time Image Credit and Video Credit pack purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law or for a verified unauthorized charge, duplicate charge, or billing correction approved by Aion. Before secure checkout opens, Aion shows the pack, quantity, price, final-sale terms, AI-output notice, and a required acceptance checkbox.
What if I do not like an AI-generated result?
Brand, product, persona, prompts, and reference media guide generation but cannot guarantee a particular creative outcome. A usable result saved to the workspace consumes the disclosed credits even if you later prefer another direction. Another generation, Remix, or refinement is a new paid turn. Review every result before publishing or external use.
Do unused plan allowances roll over every month?
Any plan-included Image or Video Credit allowance shown at conversion resets at the end of its Stripe billing period. Paid generation-credit packs are separate and are not erased by the next plan allowance refresh. Storage is capacity measured in GB, not a monthly credit allowance.
Do I need to connect Drive or OneDrive for storage?
No. Aion keeps active media in your workspace Library. The full-product trial includes 5 GB of active storage. Aion warns you as capacity fills, and you can download or delete media you no longer need.
Can I use my own AI service key to avoid Aion media credits?
No. Optional advanced service connections do not bypass Aion Image or Video Credits. Media creation remains separately authorized so Aion can show the exact cost, retain the result, and support the final handoff.
What can I do without spending media credits?
You can write briefs, save Context, upload your own media, attach existing media to posts, review previews, approve drafts, manage connections, and use permitted publish or schedule actions without spending Image or Video Credits. Uploaded and accepted durable media counts toward the workspace's GB storage capacity.
What happens if a generation fails?
Aion never starts a hidden retry or silently downgrades quality. Generation credits are restored only when Aion verifies that the exact output never entered paid generation or that its creation charge was not applied or was reversed. A provider, storage, or review failure alone does not restore credits, and credit restoration is not a cash refund. If the result is still unknown, the original request and its credits remain pending while Aion checks it; do not submit another generation. After 30 minutes, use Report an issue on that saved request so support can reconcile the original attempt. A new creative direction is always a separate, explicitly confirmed turn.
Why does Aion recommend a posting pace?
The posting pace keeps customers from treating Aion like an unlimited content firehose. Starter is calibrated for a steady weekly rhythm. Pro is calibrated for a recurring content calendar with scheduling and more media-heavy work.
Can Aion publish without approval?
No. Aion can draft, generate media, preview channels, and prepare delivery, but a permitted teammate must approve the final preview before publishing or scheduling.
How do team invites and workspace access work?
An invite is saved for one workspace with a role and selected Aion access. Pending invites do not grant access or create a charge. When an active seat is available, the owner or admin activates the teammate and Aion preserves the selected role, permissions, and channel boundaries.
How much do additional Aion seats cost?
Starter and Pro each include one active user. Every additional active user is $15 per month. Admins, creators, reviewers, and viewers use the same seat price. Additional seats do not add Image Credits, Video Credits, Context capacity, storage, publishing destinations, or another workspace.
Can invited users use connected social accounts?
Only when the owner or admin grants access. Connected accounts belong to the workspace and stay protected. Teammates can see the destinations they are allowed to use, while connection setup and account management stay with workspace admins.
Who can publish or schedule posts?
Owners and admins can manage connected channels. Invited users need publishing or scheduling access and permission for the exact channel they want to use.
Why are some video features limited?
Some advanced video options remain limited until their results are consistent enough for customer use. The available choices in Video Studio are the options currently supported for your workspace.
How do privacy and deletion requests work?
Aion users can request access, export, or deletion of their own app data. Workspace-owned shared content may need owner or admin review before deletion, and limited billing, tax, security, audit, or legal records may be retained as required.
